Your New Role:
You will be joining the team in Melbourne as an Architect/Project Architect, where you will gain exposure to all design phases across a diverse range of sectors including Education, Commercial, Health and Science and Retirement and Lifestyle Living.
Within this role, some of your general responsibilities will include:
- Playing an active role in the management and delivery of projects from all stages; concept design to construction.
- Managing the day-to-day operations of projects, updating Project Leaders (Partner, Senior Associate) where required.
- Liaising with clients, consultants and other external stakeholders.
- Producing Revit drawings, including checking and marking up drawings, and reviewing team members drawings.
- Working cohesively in a small team, leading where required.
- Contributing to the ongoing development and mentoring of other staff members.
Job Requirements:
To be successful in this role you will need:
- Demonstrated high level of expertise in Revit.
- Minimum of 5 years of Architectural Experience.
- Demonstrated experience in developing and delivering designs from briefing to project handover.
- Demonstrated experience in working with Project Managers and Consultants as part of a larger design team.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Experience in client relationship management.
- Extensive experience in design development and construction detailing (Commercial or Education sectors will be highly regarded).
- Capacity to work as part of a team with the ability to work autonomously as required.
- Rendering (Enscape, Lumion) and photoshop skills will also be highly regarded.
