Aspect Personnel have partnered with a council in Melbourne's North East to recruit an experienced Civil Design Engineer. This is a new role where you will have the opportunity to lead the design and delivery of a variety of civil infrastructure projects. 


Employed as a Civil Design Engineer, you will be responsible for:

• Coordination, planning design of road & drainage projects
• Engineering investigations
• Site Survey 
• Civil Design 
• Assessing and approving development plans
• Writing reports & project briefs
• Some project & contract management 
• Liaison with various key stakeholders.

 As the ideal candidate you will have: 

• A degree in Civil Engineering, or relevant qualifications/experience
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, and Civil3D
• Experience coordinating and managing the planning, design and delivery of Capital / Civil Works
• A solid understanding of Local Government Legislation and Best Practices
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and negotiation skills
• Ability to work autonomously and solve complex engineering/ technical problems
