Employed as a Civil Design Engineer, you will be responsible for:
- Coordination, planning design of road & drainage projects
- Engineering investigations
- Site Survey
- Civil Design
- Assessing and approving development plans
- Writing reports & project briefs
- Some project & contract management
- Liaison with various key stakeholders.
- A degree in Civil Engineering, or relevant qualifications/experience
- Proficiency with AutoCAD, and Civil3D
- Experience coordinating and managing the planning, design and delivery of Capital / Civil Works
- A solid understanding of Local Government Legislation and Best Practices
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and negotiation skills
- Ability to work autonomously and solve complex engineering/ technical problems
