Your New Role:
You will play a key role within a luxury residential development, where your role will be to shape the critical responsibility of maintaining the impeccable condition and operational efficiency of the residence.
Some of your responsibilities will include:
- Oversee all aspects of building maintenance, including routine inspections, repairs, and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal functioning of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
- Coordinate with external contractors and vendors for specialized repairs and services, ensuring timely completion and adherence to contractual agreements.
- Maintain a strong focus on safety protocols and regulations, conducting regular safety inspections, and implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Ensure the building's compliance with local, state, and federal regulations related to safety,
- environmental, and building codes.
- Assist in the management of annual maintenance budgets, monitoring expenses, and seeking cost-effective solutions without compromising quality or resident satisfaction.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements in maintenance operations.
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with residents by promptly addressing maintenance requests, inquiries, and concerns with a high level of professionalism and customer service.
- Implement measures to enhance resident experience and satisfaction within the building.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
- Generate regular reports on maintenance operations, expenses, and key performance indicators to present to management.

Key Requirements of the Role:
- Degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred but not essential.
- Proven experience in building maintenance management, preferably in a luxury residential setting.
- Strong technical knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for interactions with residents, contractors, and management.
- Proficiency in computerised maintenance management systems (CMMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and building codes.
- Ability to work flexible hours and be on-call for emergencies as required.
