- Band 6 Senior Planning Compliance Officer
- Contract from Mid-October - February 2025/ covering leave
- Possibility of extension
- Hourly rates - Band 6 level - will also depend on experience
- Roughly $50-$60 p/h plus super
- Part time, 3 days per week
- 2 days can be worked remotely and 1 day will be spent conducting site visits
- Company car available for site visits

- Must have experience in Planning investigations/compliance/enforcement planning/Infringements
- Must have a good understanding of VIC planning schemes and legislations
- Support will be provided by the in-house Statutory Planning team where needed
An opportunity exists for an experienced Planning Enforcement Officer to work for a municipality located southeast of Melbourne on a part time basis. For 4 months you will be covering for a staff member on leave, so your ability to pick up files and hit the ground running is crucial.
Employed as a Planning Enforcement Officer, you will be responsible for undertaking inspections and investigations, including conducting fieldwork, to ensure land use and development approvals comply with Planning Legislation and the local Planning Scheme. You will also be responsible for gathering evidence and writing reports.
As the ideal candidate you will have:
- A tertiary qualification in Planning and/or Building Law, or relevant experience/qualifications
- Have reasonable experience as a Planning Enforcement Officer
- Demonstrated experience enforcing legislation associated with Planning & Building
- Excellent customer service and presentation skills
