Our CBD based Architecture & Design client is committed to supporting their clients with projects within the education, hospitality, & commercial space.
They have a growth strategy in place to grow their headcount by the end of the year as they diversify their portfolio.
The Role
This is a newly created role where you will predominately be responsible for practice management & marketing/submissions support. There will also be a key element to support the development of HR policies & manage upcoming recruitment needs.
The ideal candidate is someone who is self-driven and has a resilient approach to competing deadlines within a workplace.
What will you be doing?
- Manage the day to day running of the studio including facilities, IT and supplies
- Strategic planning and development of the studio
- Liaise with external suppliers
- Event planning and coordination
- Project set up including resourcing and staff allocation, reporting on project status
- Maintain database, documentation and records
- Oversee compliance and quality assurance of office policies and procedures
- Submissions support - preparing documents and presentations
- HR support - onboarding/offboarding, manage staff leave, employee relations
- Practice/Studio/Operation Manager experience in a similar role within the built environment (architecture, engineering, construction, etc)
- Experience using a project management system
- Adobe InDesign experience is highly regarded
- Ability to work autonomously and be proactive
- Excellent organisation skills
- Strong written & verbal communication skills
