We are looking for a Senior Civil Engineer who is passionate about undertaking multi-facet engineering projects, providing technical leadership, and managing project budgets and proposals to join our consultancy client. As a seasoned professional, you will also be responsible for mentoring and training other engineers, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and driving business development initiatives.

• Lead and deliver various infrastructure projects across Australia, ensuring cost, quality, and efficiency control.
• Provide technical leadership within the civil team, focusing on 12d design and industry standards.
• Mentor and train other engineers and drafting resources, ensuring quality assurance of work before final delivery.

Preferred Requirements:

• Bachelor or Masters of Engineering in Civil/Structural with 8+ years of Australian engineering experience.
• Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) status or able to prove a pathway to achieving within 12 months.
• Specific experience in transportation, water, urban development, and utilities sectors.
• Proficiency with civil engineering software (e.g. 12d, DRAINS, AutoCAD, AutoTurn).
• Excellent IT, mathematics, and science skills including first principal engineer computations.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor or Masters of Engineering in Civil/Structural or related field.
• Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) status.
• Knowledge of Austroads Guidelines, AR&R, QUDM, and Australian Standards.

Local experience will be critical for this role.
