Medium sized engineering consultancy based in Inner Melbourne. Through a strong reputation, as well as a loyal client list, their project work book is now busier than ever. With a number of building projects confirmed, they are seeking an additional Senior Structural Engineer to assist them in a design and project management capacity.
  
Current projects include multistory office and residential blocks, shopping centres and extensive school buildings. Working in a team of experienced engineers and drafters, your primary responsibilities will include: 

• Structural design and analysis of RC, steel, timber and masonry
• Completing site inspection and coordinating with builders
• Liaising with architects and clients
• Coordinating structural drafters
• Assisting in the development of junior engineers 

This is an immediate opportunity for a highly-skilled structural engineer to join a busy and refreshingly positive work environment. As the ideal candidate, you will have: 

• A recognised Bachelor of Engineering
• Circa 8 years + structural engineering experience in a consulting environment
• A good knowledge of Australian BCA and standards
• Experience in the design of RC, steel, timber and masonry
• Experience utilising SpaceGASS or similar analysis software
• The ability to manage your own project workload
• Excellent time management skills
