- 2-month contract - full time hours
- Hybrid - 3 days in office & 2 from home
- $39.73 p/h plus super

The primary objectives of the position are to:
- To perform a planning role in the assessment and processing of both subdivision and statutory planning applications and requests, including land use and subdivision applications, pre-application meetings, and ‘Fast Track’ application processes and systems
- To assist the Statutory Planning Department to efficiently and effectively apply the requirements of the Planning & Environment Act 1987, Subdivision Act 1988 and other relevant Acts, Regulations, Codes of Practice, Policies and the like
- To provide a high standard of customer service in response to all customer requests, enquiries and matters related to all Statutory Planning within the City
- To assist in the achievement of team targets and statutory timelines
- To assist other team members with procedures and outcomes that benefit the operation of the Statutory Planning team and the City
- To be a respectful, engaged, accountable, creative and honest Planning & Design Department team member
- To develop and maintain Planning information systems and databases
- To assist in the development of Planning policy
- To advocate for good Planning outcomes within the CGD municipal area as well as for the south east metro region
