Reporting to the Coordinator of the Statutory Planning department you will be responsible for supporting the team with assessing and processing a range of planning applications. These developments could include but not limited to; 2-10 lot subdivisions, new dwellings, extensions/alterations to dwellings, heritage building alterations, cafes & restaurants, community halls, childcare and healthcare services, liquor licenses, signage, vegetation removal etc.
The successful applicant will have:
- A Town Planning degree or equivalent or have relevant experience working as a Town Planner in the local market.
- A circa of 4 to 6 years relevant town planning experience within the private or public sector is ideal.
- Experience in managing various planning applications as listed above, within the local market.
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Proven success in working on your own and within a small team environment.
