Aspect Personnel is working with a local council based in Melbourne's eastern suburbs who are actively recruiting for two Band 5 Statutory Planners for an initial 3-month assignment. Ideally, they are seeking a Planner who is available full-time in the office but part-time hours can be negotiated for the right candidate. 

The portfolio consists of primarily small residential and commercial developments but the odd application will be thrown your way from time to time. 
Experienced in ResCode assessments is crucial for this contract assignment.

Your key responsibilities will include, but not limited to:

• Manage a small caseload of planning applications.
• Counter duty responsibilities.

As the ideal candidate, you will have:  

• Degree / Diploma or relevant Tertiary qualification.
• Ideally, a minimum of 6-months experience working in Local Government. 
• Effective communication skills, including the ability to use persuasive language and produce high-quality reports.
