Aspect Personnel is currently working with a council in Melbourne's Northern Suburbs to recruit a Sustainable Transport Education Officer.
Employed as a Sustainable Transport Officer, you will be responsible for reducing the community's reliance on using cars as a mode of transport and promoting and encouraging the use of sustainable transportation. You will help with the implementation of Council's Walking and Cycling Strategy and Integrated Transport Plan.
As the ideal candidate you will have:
- Previous experience implementing behavioural change programs and integrated transport plans.
- A keen interested in sustainable and active transport
- Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and the local community
- A solid understanding of sustainable transportation, behaviours and related issues
- Strong project management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A current driver's license
