The primary focus of the role will be to investigate and implement road safety solutions, with an emphasis on improving motorcycle safety.
A hybrid working arrangement is available.
As a Traffic Engineer, you will be responsible for:
- Providing engineering recommendations for traffic, parking, road safety, and public transport issues.
- Investigating, analysing, developing, and implementing road safety solutions.
- Working with internal and external stakeholders to deliver road safety projects.
- Writing reports.
- Responding to enquiries from local residents.
- A degree in Civil Engineering or relevant experience/qualifications.
- Experience working as a Traffic or Transport Engineer, preferably within Local Government.
- Experience in road safety projects.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A current driving licence.
