Our client is a recently established food manufacturer with a flagship project to develop a greenfield manufacturing facility in Pakenham. With production scheduled to commence in 2026, their focus is on quality, localisation, and healthier formulations, aligning with growing consumer demand for trusted, locally made products.
Key Responsibilities:
This is a sole Office Administrator position where you will take ownership of the day-to-day administration of the business. You will play a key role in setting up and improving internal processes, with genuine opportunity to grow into an administrative leadership role as the company expands.
- Oversee and manage all administrative functions to ensure efficient daily operations
- Establish, improve, and maintain administrative processes and systems
- Coordinate office operations, including document management, filing, and general office duties
- Liaise with external IT providers to coordinate onboarding and system access for new starters
- Provide proactive and confidential support to Directors
- Conduct research, prepare reports, and manage documentation
- Liaise with suppliers and assist with pricing and procurement
- Arrange travel, schedule meetings, and manage calendars
- Assist with accounts payable and receivable, invoicing, and payroll checks
- Manage inventory and assist with account management duties
About you:
- Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in a similar administrative or office management role
- Proven experience using Xero and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Strong customer service focus with a positive, team-first attitude
- Ability to take initiative and adapt in a fast-paced environment
