With continued growth and a strong pipeline of public and private sector projects, an exciting opportunity now exists for an Associate Landscape Architect to join their Canberra studio.
The Opportunity
As an Associate Landscape Architect, you’ll play a key leadership role within a growing team — managing a variety of complex, high-profile projects while supporting the Team Lead in design direction, client engagement and mentoring junior team members.
In this role, you will:
- Manage projects from master planning through to construction delivery.
- Prepare design development packages, tenders and construction documentation.
- Lead the design of civic precincts, residential communities, parklands, and urban renewal projects.
- Support business development activities, including tender submissions and fee proposals.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver coordinated and creative outcomes.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to developing landscape architects.
You’re a qualified and ideally AILA-registered Landscape Architect with strong design, technical and project delivery skills. You’re comfortable managing medium to large-scale projects and enjoy the collaboration that comes with working in a multidisciplinary consultancy.
You’ll bring:
- Experience across subdivisions, streetscapes, playspaces, wetlands and other public realm projects.
- Excellent communication and reporting abilities.
- Strong commercial acumen and understanding of project management processes.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign highly regarded).
- A collaborative mindset and passion for mentoring others.
