The Role
As Factory Manager, you will take full ownership of daily factory operations, leading a team of 10 fabricators to deliver projects on time and to the highest quality. Responsibilities include:
- Leading, mentoring, and managing window & door fabricators
- Scheduling and allocating workflow to ensure smooth project delivery
- Maintaining strict quality control and compliance with drawings and standards
- Supporting prototyping and complex assemblies on the factory floor
- Collaborating with planning, procurement, and project teams to ensure readiness and efficiency
- Coordinating timely deliveries to site
- Fostering a safe, efficient, and performance-driven culture
Requirements
The ideal candidate will bring:
- Proven experience in aluminium window & door manufacturing
- Extensive knowledge of aluminium extrusions and fabrication processes
- Strong factory leadership with a hands-on management style
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings with attention to detail
- Practical problem-solving skills and a collaborative approach
- Strong organisational skills to oversee multiple projects simultaneously
- Software skills such as V6 or LOGIKAL (advantageous, not essential)
- Relevant trade or management qualifications (preferred)
- Lean Six Sigma or process improvement experience (preferred)
