The Role
As a Maintenance Technician, you'll be responsible for:
- Attending to machine breakdowns and troubleshooting issues to minimise downtime
- Performing preventative and corrective maintenance across filling and packaging equipment
- Working closely with the Maintenance Manager to support plant reliability
- Assisting with continuous improvement initiatives to boost efficiency and safety
- Ensuring compliance with HACCP, GMP, and OH&S requirements
Requirements
To be successful, you will bring:
- Trade qualifications in mechanical or electrical maintenance (essential)
- Experience in food or beverage FMCG manufacturing environments
- Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to diagnose breakdowns quickly
- Solid understanding of HACCP, GMP, and safety standards
- A proactive, hands-on attitude with a strong commitment to teamwork
- Flexibility to work across rotating AM and PM shifts
