Aspect Personnel are working with a council in West Victoria to recruit a Manager to lead council's Project Management Office/Team.

You will be responsible for:
- Management of staff (Team of Five)
- Internal stakeholder engagement, coordinating between the PMO, clients and stakeholders across council
- Preparing Council reports
- Ensuring adherence to OH&S policies and guidelines
- Ensuring adherence to best practice for capital project delivery
- Team leadership and driving process and system improvements
- A Registered Professional Engineer in Victoria (BLA)
- Previous leadership and management experience ideally within a government environment
- Experience in establishing and/or managing a PMO
- Experience managing / leading capital works projects
- A solid understanding of Local Government procedures, principles and legislation
- Ability to write and present reports to various stakeholders
- Excellent stakeholder management and negotiation skills
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
