Aspect Personnel are working with a council in West Victoria to recruit a Manager to lead council's Project Management Office/Team. 

This is a great opportunity to step into a leadership role and drive systems and process improvements whilst managing day to day operations. 

You will be responsible for:
  • Management of staff (Team of Five)
  • Internal stakeholder engagement, coordinating between the PMO, clients and stakeholders across council
  • Preparing Council reports
  • Ensuring adherence to OH&S policies and guidelines 
  • Ensuring adherence to best practice for capital project delivery 
  • Team leadership and driving process and system improvements
As the ideal candidate you will have/be:
  • A Registered Professional Engineer in Victoria (BLA)
  • Previous leadership and management experience ideally within a government environment
  • Experience in establishing and/or managing a PMO
  • Experience managing / leading capital works projects 
  • A solid understanding of Local Government procedures, principles and legislation
  • Ability to write and present reports to various stakeholders
  • Excellent stakeholder management and negotiation skills
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
