You will be involved in the full project lifecycle, working closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality mechanical designs that meet client and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and documentation of mechanical services including HVAC, ventilation and related systems
- Preparation of calculations, specifications and drawings in line with Australian standards
- Coordination with electrical, hydraulic, fire and architectural disciplines
- Liaising with clients, contractors and external stakeholders
- Supporting site inspections, commissioning and construction phase services
- Contributing to project delivery from concept through to completion
- Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering
- Experience in building services consulting
- Strong understanding of Australian codes and standards
- Proficient in relevant design software (e.g. AutoCAD, Revit, load calculation tools)
- Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively
- Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving
