The Role
Working full-time, Monday to Friday (7am–4pm), the Operations Coordinator plays a central role supporting daily operations and ensuring smooth project delivery.
Key responsibilities include:
  • Coordinating project schedules, production handovers, client communication, and delivery planning
  • Preparing markups, processing drawings, writing lift/load plans, and managing stock movements
  • Oversighting logistics including transport bookings, receipting, and accurate database updates
  • Working closely with the VIC/TAS Operations Manager to meet daily and weekly KPIs
  • Attending internal planning meetings and liaising with stakeholders to keep workflows on track
  • Pitching in hands-on when required (loading trucks, site visits for minor coordination issues)
  • Communicating clearly and concisely—able to articulate information in 30–60 seconds, not minutes
Requirements
To be successful, you will bring:
  • A background in civil engineering, civil construction, or related technical operations
  • Experience in operations, logistics, construction coordination, or manufacturing is highly regarded.
  • Strong scheduling, coordination, and organisational skills
  • Ability to communicate crisply under pressure and relay information quickly and accurately
  • Confidence in dealing with contractors, clients, and internal operations teams
  • High attention to detail, initiative, and the ability to work autonomously
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Calendar, and general digital tools
  • A hands-on attitude and willingness to step outside your job description when needed
  • A positive, energetic, team-first mindset
