About the role
- Contract positions across multiple councils
- Field based, community facing work
- Immediate and upcoming starts available
- Conduct parking and or local laws patrols in line with council policies and legislation
- Issue infringements and warnings where appropriate
- Respond to customer enquiries, complaints and incidents professionally
- Educate the community on parking regulations and local laws
- Prepare accurate reports, notes and supporting evidence
- Liaise with internal council teams and external stakeholders
- Previous experience as a Parking Officer and or Local Laws Officer within local government
- Knowledge of relevant legislation and enforcement procedures
- Strong customer service and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to work autonomously and manage competing priorities
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- A current Victorian driver’s licence
- Experience working across multiple councils
- Availability for rostered hours, including weekends
