The Position
Being strategic on their next addition to their Fire team, ideally you will be a Professional Engineer seeking to progress your career or a Senior Fire Services Engineer with a strong local engineering consultancy background.
The Key Criteria
- Relevant Engineering tertiary qualifications
- Local consultancy and design experience in wet and dry fire systems for Building Services
- 5 - 12+ years in designing fire protection systems
- Technical competence in providing consulting advice and design of sprinklers, hydrants and hose reels, fire detection & alarm, emergency warning and intercom systems, gas suppression systems and fire extinguishers
- Project experience to cover Commercial, Residential, Institutional and/or Retail
- Strong knowledge of fire protection services design with the ability to develop and present integrated solutions to clients
- Extensive knowledge of Australian Standards and relevant Codes of Practices
- Lead the department.
- Wet & Dry experience.
- Client facing.
- Must be able to work autonomously.
- Training junior staff.
