As a key member of the team, you will play a significant role in the success of projects through your technical and project delivery expertise. Your responsibilities will include:
- Developing conceptual and preliminary designs as well as highly detailed structural analysis to project and client needs.
- Managing stakeholder relationships and negotiating project outcomes.
- Ensuring projects are delivered to quality, budget and within a timely manner.
- Attending onsite inspections to ensure all conditions are considered during the design process.
- Providing technical guidance and support to junior staff within the business.
- Coordinating junior engineers and drafters.
As the ideal candidate, you will have
- Circa 6 years + experience as a structural engineer in a consulting environment.
- Knowledge and competence in the use of relevant software such as RAPT, Strand7 and ETABS to complete projects.
- A comprehensive knowledge of local building codes and standards.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience liaising with project stakeholders.
- A passion for mentoring an eagerness to develop junior staff.

- Salary and Benefits : In reward you will be offered a salary package reflective of your responsibilities and commensurate with your skills and experience, at this stage it is expected to fall between $100,000 and $140,000 however it is naturally flexible for the right candidate.
