We are seeking an experienced Associate Electrical Engineer to join a well-established building services consultancy working across commercial, residential, education, retail, and mixed-use projects.
In this leadership-focused role, you will be responsible for managing end-to-end design delivery, engaging directly with clients and stakeholders, and signing off on critical project documentation in compliance with Australian standards.
- $150k - $180k salary
- Must be Registered to sign off on work
- 5 days full time in the office

- Lead electrical services design from concept through to construction documentation.
- Sign off on designs and technical documentation in accordance with regulatory requirements.
- Oversee project delivery, ensuring alignment with client expectations, timeframes, and budgets.
- Conduct site inspections and respond to technical queries throughout project lifecycles.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers and documenters.
- Attend and contribute to design and coordination meetings with internal and external stakeholders.
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Building Services Engineering (or equivalent).
- Registered to practice and sign off on electrical designs in Victoria.
- Minimum 5–8 years of local consulting experience in building services.
- Deep understanding of Australian Standards and industry best practices.
- Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and relevant electrical design software.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- A client-facing, solutions-driven professional with leadership capability.
