This highly regarded, award winning specialist landscape architecture design firm with offices in Melbourne and Perth, are looking to appoint an Associate Landscape Architect on a permanent basis.
They boast over 30 years of experience delivering projects across Western Australia, Victoria & New South Wales and employ 30+ staff across the two offices.
Position Overview
Reporting to the Melbourne Director, you will support a team of 8 Landscape Architects deliver outstanding projects across the region. This is an opportunity to run projects from concept design to delivery - including contract administration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic leadership and direction for the landscape architecture department in Melbourne.
- Foster a collaborative and innovative culture, encouraging creative thinking and design excellence.
- Lead client engagements, ensuring high-quality project delivery from concept through construction.
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources to meet client and company goals.
- Mentor and develop team members, nurturing their growth and professional development.
- Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and best practices to drive innovation and maintain their competitive edge.
- Circa 7+ years of professional experience in landscape architecture, with a proven track record of successful project leadership in Victoria.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Landscape Architecture and ideally registered.
- Robust concept design and project management skills with experience in a variety of project types, including greenfield, public play spaces etc.
- Experience in Contract Administration is highly advantageous.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
