Salary: $130,000 - $170,000 + benefits
We're partnering with a tier one, global engineering consultancy seeking an Associate Structural Engineer to join their Sydney team.
About the role
- You will play a key role in leading and delivering complex structural engineering projects, including:
- High-rise residential and commercial buildings
- Urban design and mixed-use developments
- Infrastructure-adjacent structures (transport, civic, public realm)
- Existing asset upgrades, remediation, and strengthening works
- This role combines technical leadership, client engagement, mentoring, and project delivery within a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment.
- Lead and deliver structural designs across concrete, steel, and composite structures
- Provide technical oversight, reviews, and guidance to junior engineers
- Coordinate closely with architects, clients, and internal disciplines
- Support project planning, resourcing, and delivery outcomes
- Contribute to bids, proposals, and ongoing client relationships
- Degree qualified in Civil / Structural Engineering
- 10-15+ years' experience in consulting engineering
- Experience across buildings and urban infrastructure projects
- Strong knowledge of Australian standards and design codes
- Proven leadership, mentoring, and communication skills
- CPEng or working towards chartership preferred
