A leading civil construction company with a rich history of operating in the Australian market for over 50 + years. Servicing government and private clients for a diverse portfolio of Defence, Infrastructure, Utilities, Roads / Bridge infrastructure, and Water projects.
Located in the Eastern suburbs, with nearby parking and accessible via public transport. 

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and manage the preparation of quality submissions from inception to completion
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders in a fast-paced environment
  • Combine technical communication and administrative skills with marketing and design flair
  • Create compelling proposals that showcase project experience
  • Tailor tender content to suit both Private and Government clients
Duties Include:
  • Review documents to ensure requirements are clearly understood
  • Participate in tender meetings and monitor progress of bid deliverables
  • Manage multiple concurrent submissions and effectively prioritise deadlines
  • Write compelling content that is structured and persuasive
  • Design and layout documents using Adobe Creative Suite (advanced InDesign required)
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders and subject matter experts for technical content
  • Edit technical responses for clarity and relevance
  • Ensure submissions are accurate and comply with client requirements 
  • Maintain bid content libraries (e.g., case studies, CVs, image library, client feedback database)
  • Implement and maintain style guides and templates
  • Prepare industry award submissions
Experience / Skills Required:
  • 3–5 years’ experience in a Bid/Submissions/Proposals role (Construction or Engineering industry preferred)
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills (especially Word and PowerPoint formatting)
  • Solid understanding of tender and bid processes
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to translate technical information into clear, engaging proposals
  • Strong coordination and time management skills; ability to prioritise under pressure
  • Comfortable engaging with stakeholders and developing professional relationships
  • Ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively
  • Initiative, problem-solving, influencing, and negotiation skills
