Aspect Personnel are working with a council in Melbourne's South East to recruit experienced Building Inspector to join their team. 

This is a temporary contract for 2 months.

The Building Inspector role will be responsible for completing domestic building inspections, swimming pool inspection and ESM inspections/audits. 

You will be responsible for:
  • Conducting mandatory inspections
  • Plan checking
  • Liaison with internal/external stakeholders
  • Site visits and site surveys
  • Mentoring junior staff
As the ideal candidate you will have/be:  
 
  • A Registered Building Surveyor/Inspector (Unlimited Inspector or Limited Surveyor)
  • A tertiary qualification in building surveying or relevant experience/qualifications
  • A solid understanding of relevant acts, regulations and standards
  • Excellent time management and negotiation skills
  • A current driver's license
