A well-established Australian stormwater and drainage solutions provider is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to support continued growth across Victoria.
This role suits someone with a strong background in plumbing, drainage or piping products , who understands the trade and distribution environment and enjoys building long-term client relationships.
The Role
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients across plumbing, drainage and piping sectors
- Identify and generate new business opportunities , driving sales growth within your region
- Manage and grow existing customer accounts, working closely with internal operations and project teams
- Support clients with technical and product knowledge, leveraging prior reseller, trade or distribution experience
- Represent the business professionally in the market and contribute to ongoing commercial strategy
- Background in stormwater, plumbing, drainage or piping solutions
- Experience in a BDM, sales or account management role
- Proven ability to generate leads, win new business and grow accounts
- Experience working with resellers or trade distribution networks is highly regarded
- Strong communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills
- Self-motivated, commercially astute and comfortable working autonomously
- Competitive salary circa $120,000 + super
