About You:

Coming from the construction project industry, you will understand the complexities, challenges and opportunities of this environment, allowing you to seamlessly transition into this role and add value from the outset.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead all financial operations, reporting, and strategy
- Lead a finance team of seven
- Oversee intercompany charging, payroll, compliance, and risk management
- Deliver insightful financial reporting and support data-driven decisions
- Drive cost efficiencies and operational improvements
- Partner with business units to enhance commercial and project-level financial understanding
- Lead innovation in financial systems and processes
- Build strong relationships with banks, investors, and external stakeholders
- Champion sustainability, diversity, and ethical financial practices
- CA or CPA qualification
- Proven experience managing multiple related entities
- Strong leadership skills with a track record of building and enhancing team performance
- Keen interest in adopting and integrating financial technologies
- Familiarity with Procore, Workbench, Xero or similar beneficial
- Construction (projects) industry experience , particularly with: Projects valued between $1M–$20M / Overall business turnover of $50M–$100M
