The Role
You'll be responsible for:
- Producing detailed electrical services drawings using AutoCAD.
- Preparing lighting, power, communications, security and electrical services layouts.
- Assisting engineers with construction documentation and design updates.
- Coordinating drawings with mechanical, hydraulic, fire and architectural teams.
- Revising drawings based on design changes and site feedback.
- Ensuring all documentation is accurate and completed to Australian standards.
- Supporting multiple projects while meeting tight deadlines.
- Previous experience as an Electrical CAD Drafter within a building services consultancy.
- Strong AutoCAD skills are essential.
- Experience producing electrical building services documentation for commercial projects.
- Ability to interpret engineering mark-ups and produce accurate technical drawings.
- Strong understanding of Australian drafting standards.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Available to commence immediately or at short notice.
- Experience working on commercial offices, workplace fit-outs, education, healthcare or mixed-use developments.
- Initial 1–month contract with the possibility of extension.
