The Role
Working closely with engineers and the wider BIM team, you will be responsible for producing high-quality electrical documentation and coordinated Revit models across a range of building services projects.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys technically challenging work, wants exposure to a variety of projects, and is looking to continue developing their BIM/Revit expertise.
Responsibilities
- Produce detailed electrical drawings and documentation using Revit
- Develop and maintain coordinated BIM models across projects
- Assist with electrical design documentation for power, lighting, communications, and associated systems
- Coordinate with mechanical, hydraulic, fire, and structural disciplines
- Participate in clash detection and BIM coordination meetings
- Ensure documentation complies with Australian standards and project requirements
- Work closely with engineers and project teams to deliver accurate, construction-ready documentation
- Previous experience as an Electrical Drafter, Designer, or BIM Modeller within Building Services sector
- Strong Revit experience is essential
- AutoCAD experience highly regarded
- Understanding of Australian building services standards and documentation practices
- Ability to work within a collaborative, fast-paced project environment
- Strong communication and coordination skills
