Due to an increasing workload, the opportunity has arisen for an experienced electrical engineer to join an established team at a well-regarded multidisciplinary consultancy, based in Melbourne's Inner Suburbs.  This is a great opportunity for an electrical engineer to take the next step in their career and work on interesting projects including commercial, educational, recreational and institutional.

Working under the lead engineer, you will be responsible for the design of all aspects of electrical engineering, which includes fire and AV.  You will be involved in meetings, requiring excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.

As the ideal candidate you will have:

• A recognised degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline
• Circa 5 + years experience designing electrical systems, including fire and audio/visual
• Proficient in the use of AutoCAD to design electrical systems
• A solid knowledge of Australian Building Codes & Standards
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Being a Chartered Engineer, Registered Building Practitioner and/or a member of Engineering Australia is highly desirable.
