We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer with proven data centre experience to join a multidisciplinary engineering design team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering electrical services design for mission-critical facilities, collaborating with clients and project teams, and ensuring technical excellence throughout project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and develop electrical engineering designs for data centres and other high-performance facilities.
  • Prepare technical analyses, calculations, specifications, and coordinated design documentation for power distribution, UPS and backup systems, earthing and lightning protection, and service infrastructure.
  • Drive design excellence while ensuring compliance with relevant Australian standards and codes.
  • Support all project phases from concept design through construction documentation, review and delivery.
  • Engage proactively with clients, clearly communicate technical concepts, run meetings, and foster strong working relationships with stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate electrical solutions with other building services and infrastructure.
Experience & Skills
  • Building Services Electrical engineering experience, including significant data centre design work.
  • Strong understanding of electrical distribution systems, UPS/infrastructure resilience, and mission-critical power strategies.
  • Proven ability to develop and deliver detailed design documentation to high standards.
  • Excellent technical communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Confidence in leading client interactions and project meetings.
  • Proficiency with industry design tools and software (e.g., REVIT, AutoCAD, BIM).
  • Ability to prioritise tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
