The Company
Our client is a well-established, global manufacturer with a significant engineering and manufacturing presence on the Central Coast.
With a strong focus on safety, quality and technical excellence, this is an exciting opportunity to join a business that genuinely invests in its people and offers long-term career stability.

The Role
Reporting to the Electrical Foreman, and indirectly into Electrical Operations & Projects, this Industrial Electrician will play a key role within a busy Electrical Workshop, supporting the site's engineering and production functions.
This is a hands-on trade role suited to a licensed Electrician who enjoys variety, works well within an established team, and is looking for a genuinely stable, long-term position.

Key responsibilities will include:
  • Carrying out electrical maintenance, fault-finding and repairs across site
  • Supporting installation and commissioning of electrical equipment and systems
  • Working on switchboards, motors, drives and control systems
  • Assisting with electrical project work alongside the Operations & Projects team
  • Liaising closely with the Mechanical Workshop and broader Engineering team
  • Ensuring all work is completed in line with safety, quality and compliance standards
  • Maintaining accurate documentation and job records
  • Troubleshooting technical issues as they arise on the workshop floor
  • Working collaboratively within a rotating shift roster
This is an opportunity to join a stable, well-resourced team rather than a role with high turnover or constant disruption.

About You
The ideal candidate will bring:
  • A trade qualification as an Electrician (Level 1 or equivalent), with a current electrical license
  • Proven experience in an industrial, manufacturing or engineering environment
  • Strong fault-finding, maintenance and installation capability
  • Sound understanding of switchboards, motors, drives and control systems
  • A strong safety mindset and attention to compliance
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a close-knit team
  • Flexibility to work a rotating shift pattern
  • A track record of strong tenure and stability in previous roles
  • A team-player attitude - easy going, coachable and open to direction from the Foreman and senior technical staff
Experience within mining services, heavy industry or conveyor/materials handling environments will be highly regarded.
Most importantly, we're looking for someone who wants to settle into a stable, long-term role within a supportive team, rather than someone chasing short-term or project-based work.

Why This Opportunity?
  • $48.05 base hourly rate
  • Meal Allowance - $19.14 per occasion
  • Tool Allowance - $17.92 per week
  • Site Allowance - $90 gross per night when chargeable
  • 38 hours across a 4-day work week (rotating Mon-Thu / Tue-Fri roster)
  • Join an Engineering Branch of approximately 50 staff across Engineering, the Electrical Workshop and the Mechanical Workshop
  • Be one of 10 Electricians in a growing team, currently expanding by 2 additional headcount
  • Work alongside a Mechanical team of 10 staff in a well-resourced, collaborative site
  • Genuine long-term stability with an employer that values tenure and loyalty
If you're an experienced Electrician looking for a stable, well-paid role with a 4-day work week and a team you can settle into for the long term, this could be an excellent next step.
