Your Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough inspections of premises to prevent risk associated with food storage and preparation
- Ensure all public health businesses within the municipality are adhering to the relevant legislation
- Ensure premises that do not meet their legislative obligations upon inspection, are managed effectively
- Issue notices where applicable.
- Solid, prior experience as an EHO for a Local Council in Victoria
- A Bachelor of Health Science or other relevant tertiary qualification
- Strong food inspection background
- A thorough knowledge of the legislation that governs all areas of Environmental Health
- Exceptional communication and report writing skills
- A current Victorian Drivers' License
