Working within the Facilities department, you will provide high-quality administrative support to ensure the efficient management and maintenance of Council-owned buildings and assets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to the Facilities team.
- Coordinate maintenance requests and monitor work orders through Council systems.
- Liaise with contractors, service providers and internal stakeholders to schedule maintenance works.
- Raise purchase orders, process invoices and assist with budget administration.
- Maintain accurate records, databases and asset information.
- Prepare reports, correspondence and meeting documentation.
- Respond to customer enquiries relating to Council facilities and maintenance requests.
- Assist with contractor compliance documentation and record management.
- Support the coordination of preventative maintenance programs.
- Previous administration experience, ideally within Local Government, Facilities Management, Property, Building or Asset Management.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Experience using Microsoft Office Suite and corporate management systems.
- The ability to build positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- A proactive and customer-focused approach to your work.
