The role
- Lead fire protection design for commercial and residential building services
- Prepare compliant fire safety reports, performance solutions and specifications
- Coordinate fire systems with other disciplines and project teams
- Support construction reviews, testing and commissioning activities
- Work with clients, contractors and authorities to resolve technical issues
- Apply relevant Australian fire codes and standards on all projects
- 2–6 years’ relevant engineering experience (fire protection focus)
- Building Services experience
- Tertiary qualification in engineering
- Strong technical design and documentation skills
- Ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams
- Good communication with clients and project stakeholders
