Due to continued expansion, they are seeking a motivated and customer-focused HR Driver to join their team at their Hallam facility.
The Role
Reporting to the Operations Manager, this is a varied, hands-on position combining local deliveries with warehouse and yard responsibilities. You'll play an integral role in ensuring customers receive exceptional service while supporting the day-to-day operations of the warehouse.
This opportunity would suit someone who enjoys being on the road, takes pride in their work and is happy to jump in and assist wherever required.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete safe and efficient local deliveries across metropolitan Melbourne.
- Load and unload trucks using a forklift.
- Secure loads and ensure deliveries are completed accurately and on time.
- Assist with picking, packing and preparing customer orders.
- Support general warehouse and yard operations when not completing deliveries.
- Maintain company vehicles in a clean, safe and roadworthy condition.
- Conduct daily vehicle safety inspections and complete delivery documentation.
- Provide outstanding customer service during deliveries and customer interactions.
- Work closely with the Operations and Warehouse teams to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Adhere to all workplace health and safety procedures and road transport regulations.
About You
To be successful, you will bring:
- A current and valid HR (Heavy Rigid) Driver's Licence.
- A current LF Forklift Licence.
- Previous experience in a HR driving, warehouse or transport role.
- A strong safety focus and excellent driving record.
- A positive, friendly and professional attitude with a genuine willingness to help others.
- Outstanding customer service and communication skills.
- A reliable, punctual and dependable work ethic.
- The ability to work autonomously while also contributing positively within a team.
- A hands-on approach and willingness to assist with warehouse duties when required.
- Experience within manufacturing, construction products or industrial environments will be highly regarded.
