The Role
You will play a key role in the design and delivery of hydraulic services for building projects, working closely with senior engineers, architects and project teams from concept through to construction.
Key responsibilities include:
- Hydraulic design for building services projects
- Preparation of design calculations, drawings and technical documentation
- Coordination with mechanical, electrical, fire and structural disciplines
- Liaising with architects, builders and other consultants
- Supporting projects through design, documentation and construction phases
- Attending design meetings and assisting with site inspections
- Residential, Commercial, Hospitality, Government, Education and Healthcare.
- 4+ years’ experience in hydraulic engineering within building services consulting
- Experience designing systems including:
- Sewer and sanitary drainage
- Stormwater drainage
- Hot and cold water services
- Gas services
- Rainwater reuse systems
- Familiar with Australian standards and local authority requirements
- Experience using AutoCAD for hydraulic documentation
- Strong communication and coordination skills
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team
