Our client is a market leader in their segment. This has added significant opportunity along with complexity and has opened up the door to bring in an experienced Maintenance Manager to run all facets of plant upkeep and Engineering operations.
The Role:
Based in Pakenham and reporting to the Operations Manager, the Maintenance Manager will be responsible for the hands-on management of the maintenance team, servicing and modification of plant and equipment to a safe and operational standard to ensure that the site's operating targets are achieved, enabling efficient and effective provision of goods and services. The Maintenance Manager drives a continuous improvement culture that embraces plant efficiency, effectiveness and reliability.
The Person:
As the successful candidate you will have:
- Degree or trade qualification (electrical/engineering/mechanical or combination relevant to role).
- Aptitude to maintain complex process equipment involving process automation.
- Substantial experience working with and supervising a maintenance team in an industrial (process) environment.
- Strong people management and leadership skills, with a commitment to continuous improvement of skill development and work performance.
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
- High mechanical aptitude.
- Good understanding of enterprise agreements.
