Our client is a recently established food manufacturer developing a greenfield manufacturing facility in Pakenham, with production scheduled to commence in mid to late 2026.
With a strong focus on quality, localisation and healthier formulations, the business is preparing to introduce a new brand to the Australian market — and they are looking for a passionate Marketing Manager to help bring it to life.
The Role
This is not a “business-as-usual” marketing role. This is a build-it-from-scratch opportunity.
Reporting into senior leadership, the Marketing Manager will drive brand growth through product marketing, brand development, digital presence and multi-channel promotion. Working closely with production, sales and operations, you will play a critical role in shaping and executing a powerful market launch.
Key responsibilities include:
- Shaping and developing the brand from the ground up — logo, packaging, positioning and product design — in partnership with an external marketing agency
- Leading end-to-end product launch strategy across retail and online channels
- Building strong brand presence in the Australian market through retail distribution and digital campaigns
- Ensuring brand and product initiatives align with quality and regulatory requirements in collaboration with QA
- Partnering closely with factory, production and sales teams to ensure a seamless and impactful go-to-market strategy
- Managing external agency and supplier relationships
- Contributing as a key member of the leadership team, helping shape broader business strategy
- Representing the business at trade shows and industry events (including domestic travel as required)
About You
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or related field
- Senior Marketing experience within local food manufacturing (essential), ideally within a start-up or new brand launch environment
- Proven success managing food product brands and executing product launches
- Strong digital and online marketing capability, with the ability to tailor campaigns to targeted audiences
- Highly creative, energetic and commercially astute
- A natural ideas generator and problem solver
- Passionate about building something meaningful from the ground up
- Ambition to grow with the business and build a marketing team over time
