I’m currently working with a growing multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy that has built a strong reputation for delivering integrated building services solutions across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and sustainability disciplines.
With a solid pipeline of work and a collaborative team environment, they are looking to bring on an experienced Mechanical Lead to step into a key position within their Melbourne office.
The Role -
This is a senior role where you will take ownership across both project delivery and team leadership. You will be responsible for leading mechanical design across a range of projects, managing and mentoring the mechanical team, and overseeing projects from concept through to completion.
The role will also involve coordinating closely with other disciplines, acting as a key point of contact for clients, and contributing to business development, with the ability to help win work seen as a strong advantage.
The Candidate -
The ideal candidate will come from a building services background with proven experience delivering projects end-to-end. You will have strong technical capability, experience leading or mentoring engineers, and confidence in managing multiple projects and stakeholders. Strong client-facing skills are important, along with a solid understanding of local standards and the Australian market.

Salary is in the range of $120k – $130k+, with flexibility for the right candidate.
