Our client is a market leader in their segment and have grown due to acquisition. This has added significant opportunity along with complexity and has opened up the door to bring in an experienced Plant Manager to run all facets of operations.
The Role:
Based in the Western Suburbs of Melbourne and reporting to the General Manager; this is a senior leadership role overseeing Quality, Operations, Manufacturing, Blending, Supply Chain, Engineering, and Technical functions across a high-speed beverage manufacturing site (100 staff).
This role has further progressive pathways to General Manager anywhere from 3-5 years from now.
The Person:
As the successful candidate you will have:
- A recognised qualification in Manufacturing, Engineering or similar.
- Circa 4 - 8 years + experience working as a Plant/Site/Operations Manager
- Manufacturing experience in batch-manufactured liquid products
- Exposure to unionised environments and driving operational excellence through change management
- Excellent time management and team leadership/mentoring skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
