An opportunity exists for an experienced Project Director to lead the delivery of a major utility-scale Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) project in regional NSW. Reporting directly to the Head of Projects , you will take full responsibility for project delivery from mobilisation through construction, commissioning and handover.
Leading a multidisciplinary team across project management, engineering, construction, project controls, commercial, HSE and quality, you will drive project performance while managing key client relationships, commercial outcomes and overall project strategy.

Essential
- Proven experience delivering major EPC, energy or infrastructure projects in a Project Director, Project Lead or Senior Project Manager capacity
- Strong leadership experience managing large multidisciplinary project teams
- Demonstrated responsibility for project budgets, commercial performance and program delivery
- Experience delivering projects through construction, commissioning and completion
- Excellent client management, stakeholder engagement and commercial negotiation skills
- Utility-scale BESS, renewable energy, transmission, substations or power infrastructure experience
- Civil or Electrical Engineering degree or equivalent
- Experience delivering projects valued in excess of $100M
- Strong understanding of EPC delivery, project controls and contract administration
