Aspect Personnel are currently working with a council in Melbourne's East to recruit an experienced Project Manager to join their Civil Design and Construction Team. The role will be employed directly with council until 30th June 2026.
You will have the opportunity to lead the delivery of civil infrastructure projects including roads, drains, traffic management devises, urban improvements, sporting fields, park upgrades, and play spaces.

You will be responsible for:

- Managing design and construction of projects from conception to completion.
- Management of consultants in the design of projects.
- Management of contractors in the construction of projects.
- Administer tenders and contracts for various projects.
- Deliver projects from pre-construction through to hand over
- Monitor and manage project budgets.
- Identify, review and manage risks for the projects.
- A tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering including BLA registration.
- Previous experience in the design and construction of civil engineering and / or urban design capital works projects.
- Great stakeholder management skills
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Local Government experience
- A current driver’s license
