A nationally recognised civil engineering design and property advisory consultancy is expanding its Albury office and is looking to appoint either an experienced Project Manager or a Senior Design Engineer ready to step up.
This is a key hire, working directly with the Business Manager and playing a pivotal role in delivering projects and shaping the local team.
The Opportunity You’ll be joining a well-established consultancy with a strong pipeline of land development projects across regional NSW and Victoria. This role offers genuine variety—technical delivery, client engagement, and team leadership—within a supportive and high-performing environment.
For the right person, this is a clear pathway into a 2IC / Office leadership position .
The Role
Depending on your level, you will:
- Deliver civil design across land development projects (subdivisions, urban development)
- Manage projects from concept through to construction
- Oversee client relationships and stakeholder coordination
- Contribute to contract administration and project delivery outcomes
- Support and mentor junior engineers
- (PM level) Lead and manage a team of up to 6 engineers and act as 2IC to the Business Manager
- Proven experience managing civil design projects in land development
- Demonstrated leadership or line management experience
- Strong commercial awareness and client-facing capability
- Ability to guide, mentor and grow a team
- Solid experience in civil design within land development
- Proven Design experience, using 12D and AutoCAD
- Ready to step into more responsibility and leadership over time
- Strong technical capability and communication skills
- Salary up to $170K for PM-level candidates
- Clear pathway to office leadership (2IC)
