We’re recruiting on behalf of a specialist Building Design, Structural and Civil Engineering consultancy delivering high-quality, customised engineering and construction-stage services across Victoria. With a strong pipeline of projects including, industrial, food and beverage storage facilities and public projects. They are seeking a Registered Building Practitioner to lead building design and documentation across a range of projects.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Leading end-to-end building design for industrial projects including food-grade and temperature-controlled facilities
- Signing off on design documentation as a Registered Building Practitioner for building permit applications
- Collaborating within a multidisciplinary team alongside structural and civil engineers to deliver integrated design solutions
- Ensuring full compliance with NCC, BCA, and relevant industry regulations including food safety and hygiene standards
- Preparing and reviewing detailed documentation for permit approval and construction stages
- Liaising directly with clients in the food and beverage sector to deliver customised, compliant, and operationally efficient design outcomes
- Registered Building Practitioner – must be authorised to sign off on building permits
- Demonstrated experience in industrial building design, ideally including food & beverage storage, logistics, or processing facilities
- Strong understanding of HACCP, hygiene standards, and compliance considerations for food-grade environments
- Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, or similar tools for design and documentation
- Deep knowledge of the NCC, Australian Standards, and regulatory frameworks relevant to industrial facilities
- Excellent communication skills and ability to manage multiple stakeholders across technical and client teams
