A unique vacancy exists with an award winning national consultancy that delivers Planning, Urban Design and Landscape Architecture services in Australia and Nationally. Due to winning multiple large scale, city shaping projects across the country and abroad, its Urban Design and Strategic Planning department is looking for a Lead Urban Designer to lead some of these amazing projects.
As the ideal candidate, you will have design experience in one or more of the following areas:
- Master planning and residential development (i.e. land)
- Urban, infill renewal, precinct scale projects
- Urban design strategy interfacing with strategic planning projects
To be able to hit the ground running, you will:
- Circa 8+ years' experience within urban design in Australia working on similar projects listed above.
- Have experience working in the private sector.
- Be able to lead projects from start to finish.
- Have the ability to respond and to resolve issues that arise during projects.
- Possess strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work closely with fellow staff in a close team environment.
