You’ll be joining a collaborative team responsible for delivering concept plans and early-stage design for a wide range of public realm and infrastructure projects – including streetscapes, bike paths, trails, and greening initiatives.

What you’ll be doing:
- Lead the design process from site analysis through to concept development and costing
- Create high-quality visuals for stakeholder engagement and community consultation
- Prepare design briefs, reports, and cost estimates
- Support detailed documentation for tender and construction as required
- Collaborate with internal teams and external consultants
- Provide input across a variety of capital works and open space projects
- Qualification in Landscape Architecture, Urban Design, Civil Design or similar
- Experience working on public realm or local government projects
- Ability to produce strong design concepts and clear visual presentations
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office
- Understanding of landscape construction, plant selection, and site supervision
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with community engagement is highly regarded
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple design tasks concurrently
- 12-month contract with strong project pipeline
- Flexible work options (part-time may be considered)
