This role will suit an Electrical Engineer who is looking to work on a diverse range of projects, take ownership of designs, and continue developing their technical capabilities within a collaborative engineering team.
The Role:
- Deliver electrical building services design across a variety of commercial and complex projects.
- Prepare electrical layouts, schematics, specifications and design documentation.
- Undertake lighting, power, communications, security and electrical distribution design.
- Complete electrical calculations including maximum demand, cable sizing and voltage drop.
- Liaise with clients, architects, contractors and project stakeholders
- Assist with project coordination and provide guidance to junior engineers where required.
- Attend project meetings and contribute to design solutions from concept through to completion.
- Work collaboratively with wider building services disciplines.
- Degree qualified Electrical Engineer.
- 3+ years’ experience within Australian building services consulting.
- Strong understanding of electrical design principles and Australian Standards.
- Experience delivering electrical designs across commercial, workplace, residential, education, health or similar projects.
- Proficient using software such as Revit, AutoCAD, PowerCAD and Bluebeam (desirable).
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively within a project team.
- A proactive mindset with the ability to take ownership of projects.
- Building Services experience, a must.
